TASTY PASTRY BAKERY CELEBRATES 60 YEARS AS TALLAHASSEE’S FAMILY-OWNED BAKERY

TALLAHASSEE, FL – March 21, 2023 – In today’s economy, it’s no small feat for a local business to survive 60 years. Tasty Pastry has weathered economic ups and downs, changing consumer trends, and fierce competition. While other local businesses struggled during the pandemic, their steadfast commitment to quality and customer satisfaction helped them thrive.

“My siblings and I are honored to carry on the legacy created by our parents,” said Mark Cross, co-owner of Tasty Pastry Bakery. “Tasty Pastry has not only been a staple of our entire lives, but has been a constant in the lives of so many Tallahassee families. We look forward to celebrating 60 years with our Tasty Pastry family.”

The 60th birthday celebration will take place on Saturday, April 22, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at 1355 Market Street, Tallahassee, FL. Owners and operators Mark Cross, Debbie Cross and Michael Cross will host a variety of fun activities for the whole family, including games, prizes, and of course plenty of delicious baked goods that long-time customers have grown to love.

Face painting with the popular Disney character Elsa will be available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Spiderman will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for photo opportunities, and the 60th customer of the day will win a $100 Tasty Pastry gift card.
